One of the drivers hit someone’s jeep at a shop and took off. They are refusing to pay for the damage even though the shop has video and phot evidence. Bad way to do business and I hope the police are contacted

We informed him that we were not going to pay for the damages directly and would be contacted our insurance. He thanked me for taking care of the situation and has moved on. Let me update my initial review. They get an A+ for customer after care. I worked with Joe to resolve my disappointing experience. Joe listened to my concerns about their pricing and we came to an amicable agreement. While we got off to a rocky start I do believe that Westside Auto Pros have good intentions. Joe was very understanding and truly listened to my position. I will give them another chance the next time I need help with my car. I give them an A+ for their efforts to make me a happy customer. Let me start by saying that I agreed to pay for the services provided at the price quoted. I had my car towed in as it was not drivable. That in itself leaves me the customer in a poor position. I was quoted the price to repair the car, along with a list of many other things that I was told needed to be done totaling over $7,000. The car does have over 150,000 miles on it and is 10 years old, I do believe that some of the other items they made me aware of do need attention. I agreed to repair only what had to be done to make the car drivable. Based on what I learned after the fact I would NEVER go back. The part that they replaced I was charged $574.62 for. I find that I can buy the same part, same brand for $134.78. If I can buy the part for that price you know this business should be able to buy if for less based on the volume they do with their supplier. That is quite a mark up! Another example is windshield wiper blade replacements for $65.90. The same brand is available locally for approximately $22.00 When I call about the price the response that I got is they warrant their work for life. Considering that the original part lasted for 150,000 miles it is doubtful that it will ever need to be replaced. At the price they charged they could have replaced the part 4 times based on the price I found in minutes. You should definitely price shop before giving your approval. Before posting this I spoke with the business manager and I was told there would be no price adjustment. Any business should be given the opportunity to make a customer happy before writing a review such as this. The business was polite and respectful, I just don't think their business philosophy or pricing is fair or appropriate.

I stopped using these years ago, because they are super expensive and will always try to get you to do a useless, unnecessary repair, but decided to give them a shot again. Needed my lock cylinder assembly repaired. Sure enough tried to push repairs and replacements, I had already completed. Did they fix the lock cylinder assembly sure, but then they broke the auto lock feature. Electrical is messed up. So thanks, thanks for nothing with a large repair charge.

I’ve brought my 2011 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder to this location awhile ago, the problem was the car not being able to start at a gas station and the quote they gave me was over 6k to look into the engine motor. The car itself wasn’t even worth 6k. I took the car home to do my own research on the internet, came to find out the problem was a 16$ relay. don’t recommend this location.

my car has been held in the impound department for over a week nothing done yet because a corporate office doesn't want to honor thier guaranteed gasoline $125.00 tow fee, $40.00 a day storage fee and as of today $265.00 and nothing is done to fix my vehicle this is a total slap in my face but nothing to do with the shop it will soon come out in the wash and get some closure for myself being homeless and vehicle broke down in the dead of winter is not a laughing manner unless you are a 6 figure executive that thinks homelessness is something that can't happen to anyone at anytime but I pray to God to get my 99 Jimmy back and running like it ran before I put some watered down gas in my tank, it's no fault of the shop it is way deeper like deep as an underground fuel tank at a billion dollar corporation's inconvenience store

Needed van towed from hwy 92, approximately 5 miles east of winterset and they sent Jeremy. Here wad professional, very helpful, kind and understanding. I don't leave reviews like this often but her went above send beyond shoo I wanted to key everyone know about there greasy service he provided
